We are excited to welcome Julie to our amazing group of teaching artists! She will be working with students in our CHAMPS after-school program.

"Sewing and art enrichment for elementary and middle school children has been a passion of mine in the Winchester Public Schools since 2005. Creating art in public spaces—both interior and exterior—is my educational background in interior and textile design. I am looking forward to having this year's CHAMPS students create a group project that can be displayed in a public space, either at AMP, their school, or another public building. Give us an empty blank space that cries out for pattern and color, and we will transform it into a joyful visual expression!"

Welcome, Julie!

A giant thanks to Herringtons Lumber who shares AMP’s commitment to reuse and repurpose materials. They helped us load up on donated wood, including dowels, moldings, details pieces, pine planks, and more for our two weeks of Outdoor Design & Growing programs for tweens. A great partnership to save valuable resources and give rejected materials another life 🌎.
