FAQs about NARM and AMP Membership

What is the NARM Association?
The North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association is a network of more than 1,400 cultural institutions that offer reciprocal benefits to members of participating organizations.

What kinds of places are part of the NARM network?
NARM includes art museums, children’s museums, historical sites, botanical gardens, zoos, and science centers throughout North America.

What benefits do I get with NARM?
Reciprocal benefits typically include free or discounted admission, museum shop discounts, and reduced rates on special ticketed events. One of the best benefits? Free admission to AMP with your NARM membership card!

Does every AMP membership include NARM benefits?
NARM benefits are available to Sustainer-level AMP members and above. If you're unsure of your membership level, feel free to contact us. If you already have a NARM membership, don’t forget to use it for free admission to AMP during your visit.

Can I give a NARM membership as a gift?
Yes! A Sustainer-level AMP membership (or higher) makes a thoughtful gift. The recipient will receive a membership card with NARM access so they can explore hundreds of museums and institutions.

Do NARM benefits include my whole family?
Family benefits vary by institution. If you're traveling with children, we recommend calling the museum in advance to confirm how they define “family” for reciprocal visits.

Where can I find a list of NARM institutions?
Visit the official NARM website at narmassociation.org to browse participating locations and plan your next adventure. And don’t forget, AMP is part of the NARM network! Plan your visit to AMP and enjoy free admission with your NARM membership.

How do I use my NARM membership for free admission to AMP?
Bring your membership card (or digital card) with the visible NARM sticker. Show your card and a matching ID at the visitor services desk for free admission to AMP.
