New Mexico Project

In Taos, New Mexico, twenty students from the Taos Day School created designs on 6” x 6” or larger pieces of clay, which is part of a 3’ x 6’ white and red checked shirt honoring Stitch, a Native American mechanic. On each of their individual pieces, the students drew and glazed designs that reflected their backgrounds on the reservation, as well as things they loved, including bear hunting, horses, and favorite sayings, among others.
