Explore the three viewing levels, listen to the immersive Mural Stories, or join a guided tour to connect more deeply with this visionary artwork.
The mural is indoors. You can visit it year-round, no matter the weather.

Families
American Mural Project is a family-friendly experience. In addition to Family Day, AMP offers leveled scavenger hunts, I-Spy games, binocular loans, sensory kits, and a children’s area with books and puzzles—all included with your admission.
When you visit, ask for the children’s scavenger hunts and I-See games at the visitor services desk. They’re a great way to engage your kids, connect them to the art, and start discussions about the significance of work and workers.
Accessibility
Accessible parking is available in AMP’s parking lot, in front of the building.
There are two accessible entrances. The main entrance has a sloped, paved ramp. The second entrance at the front, left side of the building is accessed via ramp. Please call in advance to use this easier, shorter access and we can open it for you: (860) 379-3006.
Restrooms are located on the first floor.
An elevator will take you to the second and third viewing levels.
Service dogs with documentation are welcome.
